Chemix Asbestos Treatment Method

Asbestos has many excellent properties. It is highly workable and economically advantageous, but the harmfulness of airborne fibers has become apparent.

Asbestos refers to a group of naturally occurring fibrous minerals, derived from the Greek word meaning "eternal and unquenchable." It is classified into six types, with the most commonly used being chrysotile (white asbestos), crocidolite (blue asbestos), and amosite (brown asbestos). Due to its hazardous properties that can cause health issues such as lung cancer and mesothelioma, asbestos was designated as a specific chemical substance in 1971, and the spraying of asbestos was banned in 1975. Furthermore, in Japan, the use of particularly harmful blue and brown asbestos was prohibited in April 1995. The amendment to the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, which came into effect on October 1, 2004, also imposed a complete ban on white asbestos. Although its use was allowed until 2006 for certain applications, all six types were fully banned in June 2008. However, the effectiveness of alternative products is lacking, and it is unclear how long it will take to achieve a complete transition.

"Three S G Method" A deep mixing treatment method that pursues economic efficiency and high quality.

Over 8,700 construction achievements across all 47 prefectures in Japan! Thanks to our original construction quality management method, quality verification can be done as early as one day after construction!

In the construction method of the mechanical stirring type deep mixing treatment using conventional cement-based solidifying material slurry, a new technology has been introduced by installing the cement milk discharge ports above and below the stirring blades. During excavation, slurry is injected from the lower discharge port, and during extraction, it is injected from the upper discharge port, maximizing stirring efficiency and enabling the creation of high-quality improved bodies with minimal strength variation. (The stirring device has been patented.) Furthermore, as a result of pursuing quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, significant improvements have been realized through this new technology. In 2007, it obtained a construction technology performance certification from the Japan Building Disaster Prevention Association as the "Three S G Method." In 2009, the first revision was made, and the "Three S G-cube Method" (G-Cube Method) was developed for small-scale buildings. In 2011, a second revision was made based on accumulated construction results, achieving an expansion of the application range and a significant improvement in cost performance. Efforts are also being made to enhance practical training within the method association. Various training programs for obtaining certification have been recognized as eligible for subsidies from the Human Resource Development Support Grant (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Capability Development Grant (JMAF Foundation), establishing an educational system for method engineers.

SeaFect has been confirmed through various tests to have very high effectiveness in disinfection, antibacterial action, and deodorization. Despite being strongly alkaline, it does not cause side effects such as skin irritation, and being derived from natural materials makes it environmentally friendly. Additionally, compared to common similar materials, its unique technology allows for smaller particle size, providing both effectiveness and rapid action. ◇The SeaFect solution is safe and offers a powerful disinfection and deodorization liquid that has never been seen before, as it is made using SeaFect. ◇In virus inactivation tests using bacteriophages, the effectiveness of disinfecting various viruses, including the novel coronavirus, has been evaluated to be equivalent to that of alcohol (80% concentration), despite being non-alcoholic.
